North Dakota Lottery
The North Dakota Lottery is run by the government of North Dakota. It was started in 2004 when voters approved of a constitutional amendment in 2002 leading to the lottery’s inception. To date, this state lottery is only permitted to offer multi-jurisdictional games.
So, all games on offer by the North Dakota Lottery are associated with the multi-state lottery association or MSUL. Players have to be 18 years or older to play the lottery in North Dakota. The games are extremely entertaining to play and include 2by2, Lucky for Life, Lotto America, Mega Millions, and Powerball.
Proceeds from North Dakota lottery tickets are split up amongst several state funds, including the multi-jurisdictional drug task force grant fund, state general fund, and compulsive gambling prevention fund. Proceeds also go toward prize expenses, contracted services, marketing, admin expenses, and prize reserve pools.
Since the constitution restricts the lottery to multi-state online games, there are no scratch cards for sale in North Dakota, which means they’re the only state without them.
